Edwardsville Invitational Results and Comments

First off I would like to thank all of the parent volunteers that helped out Saturday at the Edwardsville Invitational. Everything looked great and ran extremely smoothly. Concessions and t-shirt workers were swamped all day, selling 173 t-shirts and countless gatorades and hot dogs. As always I appreciate all of the help. Once again our chute workers, timers and judges recieved a lot of praise from administration. In fact, our starter Pete Tucker, one of the most well respected track and cross-country officials in the state, commented on how well organized the chute was and how easy it made his job. It's comments like these that reinforces what I always say, I work with the bets athletes and parents in Edwardsville.

Congratulations to members of the boys cross-country program for another outstanding day of racing. Whether competing in the open race or one of the divisions, I thought we ran great and respresented our school well.

Congratulations to the Varsity "A" team made up of seniors and juniors for defeating the Varsity "B" team (freshman and sophomores) for the second year in a row.
