Ladies, I am really impressed with your effort today. You worked extremely hard this week, starting with the 3-1-1 on the course and following up with 1000s and 800s on Thursday. If you look at the comparison list, you will see that we improved on average of 34 seconds per runner. That is a HUGE drop in a week and a half. Obviously your hard work is paying off and the training is working. Congratulations to everyone who set a PR for our course. The team goal of 60 for 1-5 gap just missed as we hit 62. We were close, but under 60 will have to be our magic number. Allie stated that all she wanted to do was run sub 20 on our course. She beat that mark easily. We have two more races on our course, Conference and Regionals. I think all 5 our our varsity athletes can be under 20 by Regionals and Allie, you should be flirting with 19! Keep it up!
Girls Fresh/Soph:
Individual Times:
16) Leah Oglesby: 23:20.76
37) Julia Hannon: 25:10.83
91) Farida Samadzade: 37:29.27
Good job ladies. As we continue to work hard in practice, this group should be able to see the most improvement in meet days. I expect each of you to improve by over a minute the next time we race this course at Conference. Keep up the hard work.
Congratulations and good job on Saturday! Keep working hard and keep believing in yourself, in your training, and in your team!
