IHSA Order of Events

Parents, for your information, I am providing the order of events to be held at duel meets, Conference, County, Sectional and State. Relay invitationals may follow different schedules and have different events, but this is the basic order of events.

Field Events start first!
--High Jump
--Triple Jump
--Long Jump
--Pole Vault
--Shot Put
--Discus

Running events follow (30-60 minutes later)

1) 4 x 800 (3200) Relay
2) 4 x 100 (400) Relay
3) 3200 Meter Run
4) 110 Meter High Hurdles
5) 100 Meter Dash
6) 800 Meter Run
7) 4 x 200 (800) Relay
8) 400 Meter Dash
9) 300 Meter Intermediate Hurdles
10) 1600 Meter Run
11) 200 Meter Dash
12) 4 X 400 (1600 Relay)
