Date: Monday, September 29.

Location: Westlake Country Club, Jerseyville, IL.

Departure: 2:30 p.m.

Schedule:
--4:30 Varsity Girls.
--5:00 Varsity Boys (Cooligan, Morgan, Dunn, Cramsey, Thompson, Shaw, Gorsage, Alt--Abbeg).
--5:30 Open.
--All members are going......Everyone else is in the open, except E and G Sweatt, Dudding, Texas, Mazar and Cann.

Snack: We will stop at the TacoBell/Gas Station combo. Bring some money or pack a small sack lunch/dinner.

T-shirts: Typically there is a limited amount of t-shirts for sale for those interested.

Date: Wednesday, September 24, 2008.

Departure: 2:30.

Location: Kirby Junior High, Hazelwood, MO.

Runners: The entire team is going to the meet. Athletes not competing will do a work out at the course. Athletes competing for EHS: Austin Abegg, Zacharia Bertels, Joel Burroughs, Brendan Cooligan, Caden Cramsey, Nick Deluca,, John Schoeberle, Michael Stubban, and Charles Witzke.

43rd Annual Edwardsville Invitational

Thank you to all of the parents, athletes, and family members who helped us to put on the 43rd Annual Edwardsville Invitational. We appreciate all the hard work from concessions and timing, to set up and take down. The meet was a huge success, due mainly to the great support we get at EHS. Granite City Invitational Results

Congratulations to the Edwardsville Boys Cross-Country Team for a great start with outstanding peformances at the Granite City Invitational. Things started of strong with a 3rd place team finish the the Fresh/Soph Boys Division. Running for the Tigers were:

Help Request

Parents, we are asking for assistance throughout the season. We are looking for parents willing to organize and/or to bring refreshments (food, water and gatorade) to all away meets this season. Some of the meets further away (Peoria/East Peoria) usually have food delivered to the courses (subs or pizza). If you think you can help, please contact Coach Patrylak or Lisa Thompson.

We are also looking for parent volunteers to assist at all home meets this year. This includes Wednesday, September 10 and Saturday, September 20 this year. Please check the schedule for other home meets for EHS, Liberty and Lincoln.

Location: Wilson Park (behind the high school).

Departure from EHS: 7:00 a.m.

Schedule:
--JV Girls: 8:30 a.m.
--Fresh/Soph Boys: 9:00 a.m.
--Varsity Girls: 9:30 a.m.
--Varsity Boys: 10:00 a.m.
--Open: 10:30 (parents can run, too).

Lunch: A picnic for the athletes will be immediately after awards (approximately 11:15).

Return Time: 12:45 p.m.

Weights: Boys will lift for about 30 minutes upon arrival to EHS.

T-Shirts: Bring money for meet t-shirts if interested.
